The Village Independent Democrats (VID) will host several candidate forums and endorsement meetings in March, April, and May 2013 for the New York City election. The forums will provide an opportunity for candidates for positions like City Council, Comptroller, and Borough President to speak to attendees. The forums will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church in Greenwich Village. VID is a progressive Democratic club founded in 1957 that advocates for civil, human, and economic rights and seeks safety, affordable housing, and good education for New Yorkers.
