By employing two excavators, pits are
created with a predetermined depth
designed and calculated to detour, hold and
used as a buffer against the intense rainfall
encountered during the rainy season.

14. Blasting
The Gold Mining process in South America requires the use of dynamite to blast the rock
walls. The rocks are then crushed into a Gold/Sand Mix which is then washed through the
trommel washing plant.

The largest nuggets are
picked from washing plants, then the
remaining fine gold is amalgamated with
Borax.
The next process is the refining into
approximately 22-Karat Gold Dore Bar.
This is essentially a crude melting
process where the impurities are burned
off to achieve approximately 22-karat
(92%) purity.
