Social media allows nonprofits to increase awareness, engage with others, and build relationships at a low cost. Popular social media platforms include Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn, which have hundreds of millions of active users each day. Nonprofits can use social media to share news, events, photos, and videos; ask questions of and interact with followers; recruit volunteers; and strengthen their brand in order to gain support for their cause. Proper planning is required to allocate staff time for social media management and to establish response and success measurement policies.

The document discusses the key elements of a valid contract under Indian contract law. It notes that a contract requires an agreement between two or more parties that the law will enforce. There must be an offer and acceptance, lawful consideration, capacity and consent of the parties, a lawful object, and certainty of terms. Contracts can be classified based on their validity, formation, and performance. The essential elements of a valid offer and acceptance are also outlined, including that the offer must be capable of acceptance, definite in terms, and communicated to the offeree for acceptance.
The document discusses how shopping malls have taken on new meanings in the post-9/11 world. It describes how malls became symbols of American resilience after the attacks, with political leaders urging people to continue shopping as an act of patriotism. It then discusses how mall security and surveillance techniques developed in the US have been exported globally as part of the "war on terror." The document traces the author's experiences in malls across several cities and countries, showing how malls are replicable symbols of security, progress, and Western-style capitalism.

The narrator, a medical personnel, had to accompany an ill soldier in a helicopter to the base hospital. During the flight, the inexperienced pilot landed on a hilltop to show off to his village, panicking the narrator and sick soldier. After negotiations, the pilot reluctantly continued on but took a much longer route. They safely reached the hospital, but the narrator learned that overconfidence can endanger lives, as two similar incidents later occurred where inexperienced pilots showing off led to crashes due to lost control. The narrator was left psychologically scarred by the experience.
