VEHICLE RASTREO
PROBLEM STATEMENT:
To create an anti-theft auto security system that can extract
number from number plate of moving vehicle which can be
available for further analysis of theft or vehicles tracking.

INTRODUCTION


The amount of motor vehicles increase fast along with the
rapidly development of the world's economy. The worsening
of social order causes destruction and violence around the
world. They have weighted the importance of security, and
raised the growing demand for traffic data in regard of
traffic flux and automatic identification of number plate
through camera. Among all the possible schemes,
installation of video surveillance systems at streets to
record suspected vehicles has become a main tool for
police. Whenever criminals committed a crime, it is very
possible that they would use vehicle. Hence, through our
project Vehicle Raestro the police can not only get back all
the videos recorded around the crime scene to find the
possible suspects to follow the vehicle to track the owner
but also a traced path to reach the suspect.
APPLICATIONS
The development of this system makes it easy
to keep a record and use it whenever required.
The main objective here is to design an
efficient real time automatic vehicle
identification system by using vehicle number
plate. The system first would capture the
vehicles image as soon as the vehicle reaches
near the camera. The captured images are
then detected and process the information
further to database. OCR is used to identify the
characters.

plate is registered or not.

To catch a criminal or any vehicle our
system provides a linking path.
