Social Skills Group

The Social Skills Group is a program offered
through Pine Rest designed for children
ages 9 - 12 that are on the Autism Spectrum.
This seven week group will focus on:
• Learning and understanding the social world
• Verbal and nonverbal social and personal care skills
• Pre and post measures to develop specific goals to
assess treatment effectiveness
Facilitators will provide parents and referring clinicians
with an outline of the skills covered in each session
to promote generalization across home & community
settings. Parents will be expected to remain on site
throughout sessions.
