The pace of end-user technology adoption is accelerating. As new technologies make their way into the corporate environment, employee expectations surrounding Information Technology are escalating. From their perspective, data must be accessible without interruption, risk of downtime, or production loss. Employees are becoming actively involved in technology, as 97% now carry two or more devices and 27% take a do-it-yourself approach to IT. With personnel voluntarily bringing their own devices into the corporate landscape, it’s becoming increasingly necessary for technology architecture to be supportive of these increasing demands. This presentation will cover how IT can optimize existing investments while leveraging new technologies to support the desired end-user experience. It will cover how to improve on existing technology, how to embrace next generation cloud computing technology, and ways to transition to this technology to accommodate and support the growing expectations and demands of corporate employees.
