The English then conquered it in 1664 and renamed it "New York" after the Duke of York. It became the largest U.S. city by 1790.

8. COME CI ORGANIZZIAMO 5 GRUPPI WATER in USA Rivers, lakes, beaches, islands, waterfalls. LAND in USA Forests, caves, volcanoes, mountains and parks. BUILDINGS in NYC Churches, museums, statues, fountains, towers. TRANSPORTS in NYC Bridges, squares, trainstations, airports and othermeans. NATURE in NYC Rivers and lakes, parks, islands and panoramicviews.
14. COME ORGANIZZIAMO LE INFORMAZIONI The Virgin Islands are 53 volcanicislands. They’re in CaribbeanSea. They’re a fiscal paradise (no taxes) and theirproducts are rhum, fish, palmtrees. The capital city in Charlotte Amalie. APPUNTI 53 Volcanic Caribbean TABELLA PRESENTAZIONE
19. GUESS WHAT? It’s ARCHES NATIONAL PARK. It’s in Utah. It’s famousfor the presenceof 2000 stonearches. WHAT IS IT?
22. Ecco i nostri libri!
