Thomas John Taylor, an artist known as SABO, has created 250 oil paintings over the last 14 years while living in poverty in Hilo, Hawaii. He has not had a art show or gallery representation in the last 2 years. He is hoping to find a wealthy patron to fund a new project painting enlarged photoshopped orchid images in a large format style, which would require thousands of dollars for materials and thousands of hours of work.
1. URBAN SURVIVAL FOR THE “CREATIVE
HUMAN”.
Let me introduce myself, Thomas John Taylor aka “SABO” Lifetime
Artist/Oil-Painter presently held captive at Reeds Bay Resort Hotel in
Hilo. Hawaii. In the last 14 years I have managed to create 250 Oil/Canvas
Images many 3' X 4' considered Large Format. I have not had any shows or
Gallery Representation for 2 years so I use my studio to display 30 or 40
Images to no avail. I have managed a few trades. If you live below the level
of poverty on a grand a month, you barely get by. I pay the rent, groceries
and the money is spent. Last month getting the car fixed broke my bank. I
made it legal with taxes and safety, acquired insurance and a tank of gas
that I use sparingly. After a lifetime of creation, my personal zest has faded
and the groupies have disappeared. Although, My Latest Images are
Absolutely Gorgeous. I Photoshop Orchids and Blow them up to Oversize
their Beauty. I want to buy the material to paint them in a Large Format
Style using a few hundred tubes of pigments, and different tonal shades of
white. I also need a few additives by the gallon and yards of canvas, wood
for frames and an estimate of thousands of hours of laborious activity. So,
I implore some Wealthy Patron to support this “Fun” project and bring it
to fruition. Call Me: 808-747-9552
