Job Description:
• Monitor the implementation and compliance on the safety, health, environmental and security
rules and regulation set by the client and company.
• Be responsible for the implementation of all aspects of accident prevention, loss control program,
fire prevention, motor fleet accident prevention, control of equipment and property damages
as well as first aid policies and procedures.
• Recommend corrective action through pro active job supervision & initiate stoppage of work if
there is an imminent danger / life threatening hazard & take necessary measures.
• Foster within the company and understanding that the prevention of injury and damage control
are an integral part of the business and operational efficiency.
• Advice the Management of the following:
A. Ways to improve work methods.
B. Suitability of newly hired equipment from safety viewpoint.
C. Changes on safety requirements.
D. Potential hazards on new contracts before work starts.
E. Safety organization & fire prevention plans of the project.
F. Work permits if necessary.
G. Suitable security program.
• Carry out site surveys to see to it that only safe work methods are in operation, that health and
safety requirements are being observed and that the welfare and first aid facilities are adequate
and properly maintained.
• Inspect the work site daily.Report and correct unsafe acts and conditions.
• Conduct accident investigation, analyze and formulate recommendations for corrective and
preventive actions.
• Conduct daily surveys of constructions operations to ensure compliance with client/government
safety standards and regulations. Identify safety defects and initiate corrective measures by
responsible supervision
• Keep up to date with recommended code of safety practices and safety literature. Disseminate
applicable information to all levels of work force.
• Complete safety surveillance of work activities.
