Little Italy/University Village is a neighborhood on Chicago's Near West Side that is home to a population of around 18,000 people with a median age in the late 20s. It has a history as a community for Greeks, Jews, and Italians including being territory of the Genna crime family. Notable locations in the area include Our Lady of Pompeii Church, the University of Illinois at Chicago, and the National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame. During their visit, the group ate at a restaurant called Pompeii and walked around UIC, reflecting that the neighborhood had more parks and green areas than they expected and that they all wanted to return.
