This document summarizes the unit design process for SNAILTM. It describes iterations of card sorting, wireframes, and paper prototyping to develop an information structure and user interface. Card sorting involved open sorting and user testing to identify 5-9 major categories. Wireframes focused on structure without details to identify screens and navigation. Paper prototyping allowed for fast interaction and inclusion of detailed content before expert review. The process resulted in a high fidelity digital prototype ready for expert evaluation.
