Unit 4
Focus Group Ideas: Lucy, Gaia, Ryan and Maisie.
“Would buy for a friend”
“Would pay around £3 for it”
“Very dark, could have been a little more
lighter”
“I love the effects, they make it look old”
“Something hippies would like”
“Great for a new forest calendar”
“Pictures quite fuzzy”
“I like the light on the last photo”
“Really lovely pictures”
“Good for a bedroom”
“Love to buy it for a friend interested in
nature”
“Maybe a little more people”
I think people around the ages of 15-16 who
like nature would like this. Middle age wouldn’t because of the models; they’re younger and
teenagers. I originally thought it would be for middle age but I have reconsidered my opinion based
on the focus group. It’s quite dark, and the printer made the calendar very fuzzy. It came out a little
bit green. I think anyone would pay between £3-£6 for this as they do other calendars. I think people
liked and pictures and I like them too but some they say were better than others. Apparently the last
picture was the best out of all of them because of the lighting; I’m proud of this picture I took.
Overall, I think they would buy the calendar for a friend or someone who likes nature, but they
wouldn’t buy it themselves because they’re not really into that kind of stuff. The teenage boys would
rather have Wiz Khalifa with a cigarette or alcohol in his hand with a skateboard and girls would
rather have one direction, justin bieber or cute animals on there calendars; but not nature or
countryside.
