This documentary examines issues around rape and consent among teenagers. It follows actors playing teenagers at a party where a sexual assault occurs. Experts and teenagers then discuss the scenes and talk about when it is appropriate to involve police. The documentary aims to educate young people on discussing rape and knowing when to call authorities. It uses observational techniques by following the actor teenagers and reconstructs the assault with actors playing victims and rapists.

Format: A one off program - only one presenter, narrative around crime and teenagers.
Purpose: Getting involved by calling the police. Educating young people about rape
and discussions.

The audience was aimed at young adults and adults because it contains sexual content,
crime and discussions so it wouldn’t be aimed at children.

4. Key Techniques
Observational: The camera follows the teenagers around at the party and zooms into
the main characters at different stages of the night in different rooms i.e. the
bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and living room. The camera also zooms into the
characters when the teenagers are talking at first, after the party is finished.
Reportage: There wasn’t any Reportage techniques used in this documentary.
Reconstruction: Actors playing rapist and victim, young teenagers.
Interviews: With teenage audience talking about the scenes.
