This document discusses using possessive "s" to indicate ownership. It provides 4 examples: 1) a picture of Mark's microscope, which belongs to Mark; 2) a picture of Kat's stethoscope, which belongs to Kat; 3) a picture of my parents' books, which belong to my parents; and 4) a picture of my children's bedroom, which belongs to my children. In each case, the possessive 's is used to indicate that the noun after the 's belongs to or is associated with the person referred to before the 's.
