This document outlines a school project at the Francesco Baracca Primary School in Como, Italy for the 2014-2015 school year. The project aims to learn about the history of the school and neighborhood from 100 years ago. Students will research how the school was designed and built, learn about World War I pilot Francesco Baracca for whom the school is named, and explore what life was like in the area a century ago. Older students will create models and comics, while younger students will learn about the original school building and neighborhood layout. The goal is to better understand the school and community's past through various activities over the course of the year.
