Ulan Bator is the capital and the biggest
city in Mongolia. Its population is over
1.3 million. Located in north central
Mongolia, the city lies at an elevation of
about 1,310 metres (4,300 ft) in a valley
on the Tuul River.

Houses in Ulan Bator are
modern and very tall and big.
But normally, Mongolian
nomads live in yurts, houses
that are transportable.
4. FOODS AND RESTAURANTS
Lots of restaurants are Chinese and Korean : rice, pasta and soup.
