This document summarizes a meeting that took place in Tampere, Finland from February 14-18, 2011. It discusses the Universidad Austral de Chile and its learning technologies research group. It proposes using learning objects and learning designs developed in Spanish to help struggling students, particularly in the Faculty of Engineering.
