Human trafficking is the second largest criminal industry worth $32 billion. There are several types of human trafficking prevalent in Nepal, including sex trafficking, labor trafficking, child trafficking, trafficking of students, and organ trafficking. These types involve the transport and harboring of trafficked individuals for exploitation.

No unauthorized persons have the right to cross over those lines. Likewise, no unauthorized persons have the right to enter our country. We have a responsibility to limit how many people may enter. We have the responsibility to determine whether or not they will be an asset to our nation.
• If I, as a property owner, protect animals on my property, I will prevent a hunter from trespassing and hunting them. It's the same situation with our country's immigration laws. If my personal property is so large that I can't protect it from unwanted people or animals from coming in, then I fence it off.
• Burma is facing illegal immigrants intruding from Bangladesh for decades. These illegal Bengalis from Bangladesh created fake ethnic name called (so-called Rohingya) unlawfully claiming part of Burma as theirs, committing crimes against humanity and massacring on local indigenous Arakanese of Burma because we can’t control the border securely in the past.
• Tackling corruption of immigration officials, proper and effective patrolling of borders and erecting a barrier along with Bangladesh is recommended. The defence of our citizens is the very first obligation of our government. It must be done at any cost. So, I personally support that there should be the borders between nations and I strongly believe in national sovereignty.
Hawaii social problems
Hawaii is known as a paradise but faces some challenges. White people are sometimes referred to as "Ha'ole" and seen as outsiders. Traffic is ranked as the worst in the nation due to high congestion. The high cost of living, most expensive in the U.S., is driven by expensive housing prices amid limited land and development regulations. Solutions proposed include easing housing development and lowering energy costs to reduce expenses.

A novel active learning method in relevance feedback for content based remote...
This document presents a novel active learning method to improve content-based remote sensing image retrieval with reduced user labeling effort. The method selects the most informative images for relevance feedback by jointly evaluating images based on uncertainty, diversity, and density in the image archive. First, the most uncertain images are selected using a margin sampling strategy. Then, diverse and high-density region images are chosen from the uncertain images using a novel clustering-based strategy. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the active learning method at driving relevance feedback to retrieve remote sensing images from large archives.

Progetto mappatura CSO per Banca Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze
Il progetto, nato dall'esigenza di mappare i processi del Back Office della Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze, ha portato alla mappatura completa dei processi svolti "in accentrato" presso le sedi di La Spezia, Pistoia e Firenze e presso i fornitori "outsourcer" e allo sviluppo di un'applicazione web per i controlli di qualità e di SLA.
Nell'arco dello svolgimento del progetto:
- è stato creato un gruppo di lavoro formato da 3 giovani consulenti e da uno sviluppatore software;
- sono state create le interfacce del gruppo con i responsabili dei servizi e con la Dirigenza della Banca;
- sono state condotte interviste con i responsabili al fine di verificare e completare la situazione iniziale;
- è stato utilizzato un apposito strumento di Process Design per la mappatura dei processi;
- sono stati definiti i indicatori e punti di controlli;
- è stata sviluppata un'applicazione web per l'esecuzione dei controlli e la raccolta e sintesi dei dati degli indicatori.
L'applicazione è entrata a regime nel corso del 2008.

Abstract:
A distributed doubly linked list (or bidirectional ring) is a fundamental distributed data structure commonly used in structured peer-to-peer networks. This paper presents DDLL, a novel decentralized algorithm for constructing distributed doubly linked lists. In the absence of failure, DDLL maintains consistency with regard to lookups of nodes, even while multiple nodes are simultaneously being inserted or deleted. Unlike existing algorithms, DDLL adopts a novel strategy based on conflict detection and sequence numbers. A formal description and correctness proofs are given. Simulation results show that DDLL outperforms conventional algorithms in terms of both time and number of messages.
The Working Time Records an Employer Must Keep in ireland
Employers in Ireland are required to keep accurate records of employees' working time including start and finish times, daily and weekly hours worked, and leave taken. These records must be retained for 3 years. If an electronic clocking system is not used, employers must fill out form OWT1. Certain exemptions apply for workers who set their own hours or work voluntarily. Records of rest breaks are not mandatory if electronic systems track this or form OWT1 is completed along with informing employees of break entitlements and procedures. Non-compliance could result in fines up to €1,900 or court conviction.
