This document discusses the history and development of a new software product. It describes how the product was originally conceived as a side project to solve a personal problem. After positive feedback from early users, the creator refined the product and founded a company to continue its development. The product has now grown into a successful business with many customers thanks to its useful features and high quality.

This slideshow was prepared as part of a panel discussion for the American Public Health Association’s national conference, November 2014, in New Orleans. The subject was The Kresge Foundation’s Safety-Net Enhancement Initiative, a multiyear effort undertaken in eight communities across the U.S. (Kresge photos by Lon Horwedel)
Amir introduces himself and his family, including three sisters. He has two pets, a dog named Sandy who is 6 years old, and a hamster named Fluffy who is 1 year old. Amir enjoys activities like jogging, reading, photography, music, art and traveling. He is from Los Angeles, California in the United States, which has 50 states. Los Angeles has beaches, is a big city with warm weather, and is known for Hollywood filmmaking. Major American holidays celebrated include New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The document discusses using Hadoop as a data hub. It describes how a data hub allows organizations to source data once and reuse it many times, eliminating the need for complex and costly ETL processes. Key benefits of a Hadoop data hub include making all data available with low latency, empowering business users with self-service access, and reducing IT costs through a "source once, reuse many times" approach. The document also provides an overview of how Sears has implemented a Hadoop data hub to modernize their legacy systems and analytics capabilities.

The document proposes a Co-ordinate Interleaved Non-orthogonal Amplify and Forward (CINAF) relaying protocol to provide full diversity gain for all symbols transmitted in a cooperative wireless network. It involves precoding symbols using a unitary precoder before transmission and decoding them using a zero-forcing successive interference cancellation receiver. Simulation results show the CINAF protocol performs better than conventional amplify-and-forward relaying and a unitary precoding scheme in terms of symbol error rate and bit error rate.
