former students of residential schools
and a commitment to ongoing
reconciliation in Canada.
Let’s all wear orange this Friday as a
show of support!

3. Terry Fox Run-Thursday September 21
• All students are asked to
please bring in a “Toonie for
Terry” and to wear red and
white on Thursday.
• The class who brings in the
most money will win a DQ Ice
Cream Cake

4. All students interested in
assisting with Basketball
scoring and timing at Home
Games this year are invited to
attend a meeting TODAY at
11:00 sharp in the gym. Grade
9’s are welcome! This is a great
opportunity to get involved
with the Co-Curricular program
at SCI and you may collect
volunteer hours for your time.

• Athletic Council is open to anyone in grades 9-12 who would like to
take on a leadership role by helping out with various sports-related
activities at SCI. To hear more information about Athletic Council, be
sure to attend the meeting this Thursday, at the start of lunch in room
