graft. He did so'for the following reasons:
These men were trustworthy and reliable. They had proven themselves and
weren't novices. They had established track records of dependability that al-
1owedthemtobeconsideredforpositionsofresponsibility.
They were co:nsidered reliable. Their reputations preceded them. They were
men trusted by the commuriity. .
They brought diverse gifts. As a priest, a scribe, a Levite and an assistant,
they had different roles and brought multiple gifts to the task.
They brought accountability to one another. Ai a group assigned to an enor-
mous task that required continual opportunities for temptation, they could
offer one another spiritual and administrative accountability.
