1. Co-working Space – Treatment Note
Script ONE – Baby
The film opens inside a conference room of a
corporate office. Varun, a young man, is
pitching his business idea to Mr Singhania, a
well-dressed man (investor) who seems to
be in his late 50s.
We cut to a mid-shot and see Varun
presenting to Mr Singhania. He seems
intrigued by Varun’s presentation.
Just then we hear the wail of a kid crying. Mr
Singhania is taken aback by the sudden
sound. He rolls his eyes towards his left.

2. Varun gets awkward and looks in the same
direction.
We cut to a long shot and reveal a brat kid
sitting on the same conference table. He is
crying loudly. His mother is sitting next to
him.
Just then the entire office set-up changes to
a café set-up. We see the same kid sitting on
the adjacent table. His mother looks
helpless.
Mr Singhania and Varun exchange awkward
looks. Mr. Singhania doesn’t look happy

3. Right then, the kid throws a cake piece at Mr
Singhania.
Varun panics and tries cleaning it with his tie.
An annoyed Mr Singhania shoos him away.
Varun stands there awkwardly.
Voice-over kicks in: “Cafes are often not the
