Introduction TRAUMA GYNECOLOGY ? Conclusions Hospital de Alta Resolución Guadix ,[object Object],[object Object],22 years old patient who came to the Hospital of High Resolution edema and pain in vulvar region after consensual sex. Clinic denies dizziness, fainting or blackouts. Physical examination is performed to visualize large vulvar hematoma without associated hemodynamic instability. Analytical without abnormal findings. Required hematomas surgical drainage and blood counts control. Discharge from hospital at 7 days after admission to subsequent weekly outpatient controls. Case Report 1. Vulvar hematoma is a rare gynecological process. The choice of treatment determnants are: hematomas size, the patient's hemodynamic status and hospitals available resources. 2. Injuries are generally the most common cause, and within them, obstetricians. 3. Although in most cases, the affected vessels are superficial branches, always consider the possibility of breaking a deep vessels (especially if no history of prior trauma). 4. Most hematomas can be managed without surgery, progressing well. However, large hematomas accompanied by hemodynamic instability, requiere surgery vs selective embolization. 5.
