Problems with Traffics

1. Recently Dhaka was announced as the fourth least livable city in the world by
a global research organization1 . Bangladesh is a most densely populated
country in the world. The Traffic jam is the main and common problem in the
country, especially Dhaka and Chittagong district. Dhaka is mega city and the
capital of Bangladesh. It is a fast-growing megacity lacks the infrastructure to
cope with its people. More than twelve million people live in Dhaka and the
population is increasing rapidly. So, many problems created by its huge
population. Every day about seven thousand rickshaws ply in road of Dhaka
and the huge number of rickshaws is creating a Traffic jam in the city. Almost
all the street is getting jammed by buses, CNG and rickshaws. There is scarcity
of enough roads and public transports. People buying cars for their own
commuting which is making the situation even worse. Otherwise, traffic
congestion is a worldwide as well as native delinquent. All over the world, the
prime cause of traffic congestion is on street parking.
