This document describes four traditional Valencian games played in the sand: El mocador (scarf game), Wide game, Espardenya per darrere (slipper from behind), and La araña (spider game). El mocador is a tag game where players race to retrieve a scarf. Wide game involves collecting clips from bases while defending or attacking. Espardenya per darrere involves hiding a slipper on others' backs while they sing. La araña divides players to be spiders or cross a line while avoiding the spiders.
