Chongoyape is a city in Peru located 60 kilometers from Lambayeque, the capital of the department. Some popular tourist destinations in Chongoyape include the Tinajones dam, an important reservoir for irrigating farms in Lambayeque. Other sites include the Mulatto Hill, Chaparri Hill, the main park of Chongoyape, and the petroglyphs found on Mulatto Hill.
