 This sector is about the different types of accommodation
 There are private and public hospitality sector that offers
accommodation and meal to tourist
 Private sectors such as B&B, Hotels, Guest house, Restaurants
and Backpackers
 Public sectors include establishments run by National Parks
1.FORMAL SERVICE ACCOMMODATION
 Required: manager, receptionist, all meals and beverages, room
services, laundry services, 24 hour security, swimming pool, TV,
internet, tea and making facilities, gym, gift and speciality gift
shops and parking.
2. GUEST ACCOMMODATION
 Owner run, family atmosphere.
 Required : servicing of rooms, meal by
arrangement, private room, TV and parking.
3.SELF CATERING ACCOMMODATION
 It costs less
 Required: at least one bedroom, living and dining
area, bathroom, cooking or kitchen area,
management available, cleaning services, TV and
braai area
4. CARAVAN AND CAMPING
ESTABLISHMENT
 Inexpensive
 Required: caretaker must be available, electrical
power, bathrooms, braai area, laundry room,
close shops and access to a telephone.
5. BACK-PACKERS AND HOSTELS
 For travellers with limited budget
 Required: Single rooms, linen, shared living areas,
tourist information brochures and public
telephones
6. GAME LODGE
 Privately owned, high standard accommodation, situated in or
