Product Design Trends in 2024 | Teenage EngineeringsPixeldarts
The realm of product design is a constantly changing environment where technology and style intersect. Every year introduces fresh challenges and exciting trends that mold the future of this captivating art form. In this piece, we delve into the significant trends set to influence the look and functionality of product design in the year 2024.
How Race, Age and Gender Shape Attitudes Towards Mental HealthThinkNow
Mental health has been in the news quite a bit lately. Dozens of U.S. states are currently suing Meta for contributing to the youth mental health crisis by inserting addictive features into their products, while the U.S. Surgeon General is touring the nation to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. The country has endured periods of low national morale, such as in the 1970s when high inflation and the energy crisis worsened public sentiment following the Vietnam War. The current mood, however, feels different. Gallup recently reported that national mental health is at an all-time low, with few bright spots to lift spirits.
To better understand how Americans are feeling and their attitudes towards mental health in general, ThinkNow conducted a nationally representative quantitative survey of 1,500 respondents and found some interesting differences among ethnic, age and gender groups.
Technology
For example, 52% agree that technology and social media have a negative impact on mental health, but when broken out by race, 61% of Whites felt technology had a negative effect, and only 48% of Hispanics thought it did.
While technology has helped us keep in touch with friends and family in faraway places, it appears to have degraded our ability to connect in person. Staying connected online is a double-edged sword since the same news feed that brings us pictures of the grandkids and fluffy kittens also feeds us news about the wars in Israel and Ukraine, the dysfunction in Washington, the latest mass shooting and the climate crisis.
Hispanics may have a built-in defense against the isolation technology breeds, owing to their large, multigenerational households, strong social support systems, and tendency to use social media to stay connected with relatives abroad.
Age and Gender
When asked how individuals rate their mental health, men rate it higher than women by 11 percentage points, and Baby Boomers rank it highest at 83%, saying it’s good or excellent vs. 57% of Gen Z saying the same.
Gen Z spends the most amount of time on social media, so the notion that social media negatively affects mental health appears to be correlated. Unfortunately, Gen Z is also the generation that’s least comfortable discussing mental health concerns with healthcare professionals. Only 40% of them state they’re comfortable discussing their issues with a professional compared to 60% of Millennials and 65% of Boomers.
Race Affects Attitudes
As seen in previous research conducted by ThinkNow, Asian Americans lag other groups when it comes to awareness of mental health issues. Twenty-four percent of Asian Americans believe that having a mental health issue is a sign of weakness compared to the 16% average for all groups. Asians are also considerably less likely to be aware of mental health services in their communities (42% vs. 55%) and most likely to seek out information on social media (51% vs. 35%).

Top 8 Project Tracking Software 2022.pdf
1. Top 8 Project Tracking Software 2022
If you're looking for project tracking software that will keep you organized, there
are a few things to consider before making a decision. While there are a few options
on the market, the best options will fit your specific project requirements. The
following article will give you a brief overview of some of the best project
management software options.
rodeo software
Rodeo software has a simple interface that allows you to create a project budget
quickly. You can also copy the framework of a previous project and begin working
right away. Once your project is up and running, you can assign tasks, set priority,
and monitor team capacity. All of these features help you manage your projects and
increase profitability.
Rodeo is a leading project management SaaS platform that targets SMEs in the
creative industry. Its subscription-based business app offers significant efficiency
gains in budget management, project tracking, and planning. Rodeo is headquartered
in the Netherlands, but also has an office in New York.
Its user-friendly interface makes it easy for managers to manage projects. Using
Rodeo, project managers can set budgets, and schedules, and create quotes from one
place. Although it lacks other integrations such as Quickbooks, its robust features
help small businesses streamline their processes.
scoro software
2. With a variety of features and flexible pricing plans, Asana is an excellent option for
managing multiple projects. Its native chat feature makes collaboration and
information sharing easy. Besides, Scoro software offers custom fields to track
specific data points, which can help in keeping the entire project on track. With
customizable views and a centralized repository, Asana also offers advanced search
features and team collaboration tools.
This feature-packed project management software is an ideal choice for business or
marketing companies. It is capable of automating the entire process of project
management, from defining project scope and managing tasks to managing client
relationships. Furthermore, it supports drag-and-drop file management. Moreover, it
offers integrations with popular apps, which ensures seamless collaboration among
project team members.
Yodiz: This cloud-based project management tool aims to make task management
and tracking easier. It is especially useful for teams using Agile methods. Moreover,
it has integrations with calendar apps and Zapier. However, it lacks features like
Gantt charts on its free starter plan.
bitrix24 software
Bitrix24 software is a cloud-based project management tool with powerful
collaborative features. Its features include file storage, sharing, and discussion for
multiple users. The software is also capable of coordinating project timetables, tasks,
and communications among team members. Users can save documents and share
them with others without compromising security. Bitrix24 is a great choice for small
businesses on a budget.
3. It enables users to create and share multiple calendars. Moreover, the software is
very customizable, allowing users to create groups and subscribe to other users. It
also offers integrated video conferencing, group chats, and voice calls. Lastly, the
software allows users to collaborate with each other through social media apps.
While Bitrix24 software offers many tools, its main drawback is that it does not
have enough options for more complex tasks. Agile project management involves
breaking production into cycles, called sprints. These cycles typically last for two to
four weeks. At the end of each sprint, teams deliver a product to consumers. Bitrix24
software supports Agile project management, but it lacks a proper Kanban board for
Agile projects.
clickup software
ClickUp is a great project tracking software for companies with a variety of projects.
It has a flexible feature set that allows for the easy creation of tasks, subtasks,

that shows all the tasks assigned to different team members. It also has a calendar
view that displays tasks with due dates. It also lets you view tasks by assignees,
which is a great feature for project managers. It also allows users to save and share
project plan templates.
ClickUp is an easy-to-use project management software that lets you migrate data
from other tools. It supports embedding spreadsheets from Google Sheets and
Google Project. It also has integrations with many other apps. It is also continually
4. improving its user interface and expanding its toolkit. If you're interested in trying
ClickUp out, consider signing up for a free trial.

Atlassian products. The application features over 20 pre-built templates, more than
500 integrations, and more than 3000 extensions. Users can use the application on-
premises or in the cloud to plan and execute project tasks. However, it does have a
steep learning curve.
Currently, it is free to use. It also provides a variety of customizable views for tasks
and teams. It has a Gantt chart, mind map, and four different page views. You can
also add apps, forms, and chat conversations alongside tasks. It also includes a
mobile app that makes it easy to manage teams.
planview clarizen

portfolio management capabilities. Planview Clarizen enables collaboration among

capabilities. Its features include bug tracking, linking issues to related code, agile
planning, monitoring activity, and more. Additionally, the software offers data
security controls and encryption in transit. It also comes with customizable
6. workflows and can connect with Slack, Microsoft, Dropbox, Google, and other
services. The company claims to have over 3000 integrations.
Jira software also offers roadmaps, which are great for keeping track of work. They
are available in both a basic and an advanced version. These maps help teams and
organizations stay aligned by tracking work at various levels, from individual tasks
to company-wide initiatives. Jira roadmaps also integrate with Scrum boards and
allow you to move sprints and backlogs to roadmaps, which helps you manage
