3. At a young age Tony began attending races at
Winchester Speedway watching some of the
greats driver’s battle for wins.
4. That fueled his desire to be in racecar
. Then learning of his own racing
history, from his grandparents about
his grandfather’s racing. His
Grandfather had won at local stock
car racing events in the 1950’s.
6. In 1998 dirt grand nations at Terre
Haute Action Track he scored 5th place
in the A-Main and being the only
Mini-Indy and Kokomo driver to
qualify into the A-Main. This got him
the nick name Tony “A” Main.
7. He then moved into 600cc Modified
midget ranks. He had 5 feature win in
600’s at Midwestern tracks including
Bakerfields Speedway, Miami
Speedway, Stateline Speedway and
Jackson Speedway
8. In 2005 in a Lou Morgan’s owned
USAC Focus midgets. He finished 13th
his first year in the Midwest Series
points and 20th in the inaugural
season for national points.
In 2016 he finished 7th in the
Midwest Pavement Series points
9. 2004 he made his first dirt sprint car start.
In 2008 he began running weekly dirt
shows around Indiana and Indiana. He
finished 3rd in points at Waynefield.
10. In 2014 he made the jump and added
a pavement sprint car running 4 races
in preparation fo the 2015 Little 500
where he started 27th and ran 483
laps for a 12 place.
11. Currently working as an engineer for
Applegate Livestock Equipment. Tony
graduated from Purdue in December 2009
