Ceara Hogan Tomaino is an undergraduate student at Lehigh University studying Earth and Environmental Sciences. She is expected to graduate in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Science and a GPA of 3.53. Her research experience includes projects analyzing pollen and microbial samples from bogs and lakes to reconstruct past environments. She has also studied sedimentary deposits to determine paleoenvironments and analyzed vegetation gradients along a coastal dune system. Her research interests include paleoecology, hydrology, wetland ecology, and the interactions between forest processes and climate change.
