The Campaign for an American DREAM (CAD) is changing the start date of their cross-country walk from March 10, 2012 to Saturday, March 10, 2012. The walk will begin in San Francisco and end in Washington D.C., with 5 undocumented and ally students walking to create dialogue about how the DREAM Act would help communities. The date was changed to allow more time to organize communities in support of the DREAM Act, which would provide residency status and a path to citizenship for undocumented students who go to college or join the military.
