research, this study conducts a car recalls trend analysis for the US market that is a first of its kind. The
research uses secondary data from recall websites maintained by public and private organizations. The
study shows recalls are a common event with the majority of recalls initiated by only a few carmakers.
Though carmakers use many eye catching and popular quality and customer care slogans and programs,
many popular car makers still face valid customer complaints and consequently face many unwanted

An analysis of the external environment is undertaken in order to discover the opportunities and threats that are evolving and that need to be addressed by the organization. A study by Diffenbach (1983) identified a number of positive consequences that stem from carrying out an organized environmental analysis. An analysis of the external environment can be broken down into three key steps, each becoming more specific to the organization. The first step is an analysis of the macro-environmental influences that the organization faces. This is followed by an examination of the competitive (micro) environment the organization operates within. Finally a specific competitive analysis is undertaken.
Although a majority of executives say sustainability is necessary to be competitive, most companies still aren't profiting from their sustainability efforts. Executive Summary
Ford Motor Company uses a strategic structure that closely monitors the needs of the business on different conditions of the market. The company manufactures several products that are intended to target a variety of consumers in the market. However, the firm faces several competition from Toyota, General Motors and others. Either way, the company has started a One Ford slogan that pushes it through these economic crisis.
Competitive Analysis
The motor industry is characterized by a rapid increase in innovation. These innovations are all fuelled by the rapid increase in the changes of technology. First, the design of the vehicles were based on “horseless carriages” that the people were used to in those times (Polk & Co, n.d). However with the rapid technological changes, new and fashionable designs are being developed every day. Moreover, there is also the advancement of technologies such as lean production, ERP and others being utilized in the industry.
Every day, the needs of consumers change. Their tastes and preferences are highly versatile which means that Ford Company is always on its toes to try to come up with a new model that will be liked by the consumers. Therefore, they need to incorporate technology in the design of their automobiles according to the consumers’ preferences and tastes. Additionally, legal political factors are also evidenced in the motor industry. Motor industries is viewed as an important aspect in economy of a country. Thus the governments would not want to lose this industry. As a result, the governments have been known to pump cash in the industry to ensure that they keep running.
The most intense competitive forces affecting Ford Company is the high threat of substitutes. There are other substitute’s fuels that consumers could easily switch to which will leave Ford at a disadvantage. Secondly, consumers may also use alternative means and modes of transport and finally, customer loyalty has immense influence on consumers.
Strategic Position and Direction
Ford Company has garnered so much attention with its One Ford campaign. Moreover, with the government interferences, the company is doing so much better. However, their main issue is the uncertainties in the economic direction of the globe. The company uses differentiated strategy in order to target various consumers. The companies produces economy cars, sports cars, trucks and others (Ford Motor Company, 2015). The different variety of products the company offers its consumers gives them wider choices which attracts loyal customers.
The economic standards of countries keep changing as days go by. Therefore, I would recommend that the company changes its geographical sco.
. In my article i will try to explore the effects of a partnership interests and transfer pricing effects on company profits and profit sharing in an integrated business model. Throughout the analysis, i will try to display the impact of transfer pricing on the profits and partnership ratios.

Solectron has achieved outstanding results because of its strategic planning system and the personal leadership provided by its management.
By focusing on customer satisfaction, exploiting advanced manufacturing technology, and stressing continuous improvement in operations and service, the company has reached high levels of quality and efficiency, making it best-in-class and a world leader in production. Solectron is an American company that has competed successfully in international markets. Many competitors of Solectron are now customers because they found it was better to outsource to Solectron than to produce many products in-house. In addition, about 90% of all new work comes from returning satisfied customers.
Assessing Customer Needs
Solectron focused its planning processes on the customer. Solectron does not compete with its customers in designing and marketing products. Although it offers an original equipment manufacturers (OEM) design service, usually the company produces to its customers’ specifications and designs. As a result of understanding its customers, the company develops strategies to meet its customers’ requirements in the areas of service, quality, and cost. Solectron continually monitors customer satisfaction levels and conducts exhaustive research on competitors and markets.
Surveys of customers are conducted on a weekly basis. The results of these surveys go directly to the CEO, who reviews the information with top management in one of three weekly meetings on quality-related issues. The survey information is used to grade the performance of each of Solectron’s nine divisions.

3. ABSTRACT
This research critically evaluates the international pricing issue of multinational
corporations, which operates across countries, based on the factors that have impacts on
global pricing decision making in the context of differentiated or similar characteristics of
countries. In order to achieving ultimate objective, the case of Bridgestone Corporation’s
two subsidiaries, which are Bridgestone UK and Bridgestone Turkey, was used.
This research has been based on different theories behind international pricing which is
industrial economics theory, contingency theory, and corporation’s resources theory. In the
context of industrial economics theory, it is found that Bridgestone is using benchmark
pricing strategy. Meanwhile, Bridgestone has been taking into consideration of price
fairness because of its distribution channel structure, competition laws, and entry barriers.
On the other hand, costs, especially raw material costs, in which whole tyre manufacturers
have lack of control, hugely impact pricing. Additionally, the labour costs and transportation
costs have caused becoming a competitive disadvantage for Bridgestone over its
competitors, especially low cost Asian tyre manufacturers when pricing. In the context of
contingency theory, Bridgestone has a tendency of adapting its pricing policy through
leaving it to local managements in each country in the case of different factors of locals. The
company has provided the opportunities of higher availability of quick and deeper market
analysis and response, deeper penetration of local markets, better understanding of
significant differences of local markets, easier to get new ideas, opportunities and
innovations, and using the motivation of local management. Meanwhile, the strong
communication between headquarters and its local subsidiaries has provided the correct
implementation of the pricing policy. In the contexts of corporation’s resources theory,
Bridgestone has a tendency of making investments on branding, and brand awareness that
provide the most competitive advantages which cannot be imitated by its competitors. On
the other hand, original equipment impact which provides reinforcing on the choice of end
user’s tyre replacement decision with the same brand already fitted on the passenger car is
being taken into consideration. On the other hand, again in the light of competitive
advantages of corporation, it is clearly observed that Bridgestone has made investments on
environmental friendliness, being safer for consumers’ family life, social responsibility
campaigns, and after sales conveniences for customers in order to create positive
differentiations, to provide emotional connections with consumers, to win the emotional
branding race, and to sustain its leadership due to setting higher prices for its products over
its competitors.
