slave trade it was where the slaves were off loaded.

Its capital is Lomé.
3. HISTORY OF TOGO
In the beginning, Togo at first spoke Portuguese in
the 15th century. Around the 11th and 16th century
however, the people of Togo spoke different
languages since it was built up with different tribes.
In 1914, Togo was originally called Togoland until it
had its name changed.
