- Use as much contrast as you can – colour, size, position, images and words…
- Juxtapose odd things!
- Let the BIG bleed off the edge of the slide, so it looks like it’s too big to be contained.
- Cut the…!! After you have planned your slides, ruthlessly pare down the non-essential slides.
- This is a horrible fade out, but it gets the message across
- Repetition for effect – see the iPod site!!
- Get rid of all the glitzy animations and transitions – they are forgettable, and worse, distract from your msg.
- Use the rule of thirds. Many photography websites offer you help.
