2. LOCATION
“Taurage Industrial Park ” is located in a strategic
position:
in the middle of Europe, southwest of Lithuania, 117
km from the seaport Klaipėda, 30 km from the Russian
Federation.
TIP is alongside the Via Hansa route (E77), following its historic
intention to connect Germany, Poland, the Russian Federation,
Lithuania, Latvia and Scandinavia. “Taurage Industrial Park”
territory is crossed by the railway linking the Europe Union with
the Eastern markets.
3. LONG LASTING INDUSTRIAL TRADITIONS
Taurage is known as the industrial centre of western

6 700 million EUR European Union support are allocated
for Lithuania in 2007-2013. The financing period for 2014-
2020 is under development.
