Seeking a position with a professional organization, that will utilize my talent and experience.
I am an experienced, professional sound recording engineer with an extensive background and education. I own and
manage my own company, working with all varieties of recorded entertainment; producing, editing, composing,
managing, and performing.
I have spent the last three years as a resident sound board operator covering all aspects of live sound: Setup
(microphone placement, cable running, speaker placement, stage plot), mixing at high sound quality, and striking. I
have maintained high quality, live sound at festivals and venues with audiences over 4,000 people.
My bachelor’s degree is from Ball State University, Indiana. I was a master student on the Stand-up Bass under Hans
Sturm (former President of the International Society of Bassist) with my main focus on music theory and sound
engineering.
I have performed live on stage with famous artists such as Dean Pleasants, Peter Stormare, and Troy Seele.
Lead promotional campaigns for small private music events with no more than 300 people. Promotion work
included creating flyers, logos, banners, and managing a promotion street team.
Tech Bit Recording is my record label. I have produced two (2) albums. Heat featuring Ton Dras and Kic by Finishing
Moves. Mixing and mastering work for over 50 artists including Suicidal Tendencies, Pig Money, Glostik Willy, The
Coop, Catch Curtis, Eumatic, Tonal Caravan, and Embryonic Fluid.
Bostyx - during the 2015 West Coast Tour I used new digital boards at each venue and maintained a high quality
sound mix for live audiences.
Comedian Nick DiPaolo – Recorded DiPaolo’s live performance and audience reactions used to create the DVD
Another Senseless Killing released on February 17, 2015. It is available on ITunes or Amazon.com. I was responsible
for the data management of the audio files and editing, including all audio correction.
Comedian Dave Attell - Sound recording engineer for Dave’s 2012/2013 U.S. Tour. We travelled to many different
venues across the country where I captured high quality sound during live performances. I maintaining the audio
files used to create his DVD Road Work released on April 11, 2014. It is now available on Netflix, ITunes, and
Amazon.
Vitellos, Studio City, CA - I worked with each band’s unique sound requirements with complete responsibility for the
show including set up/tear down and front of house mix.
Suicidal Tendencies, Venice, CA. - Worked with the band as their sound engineer during recording sessions and
various other projects.
