【A. warm-up】(10 分鐘)
教師先播放無字幕之 Winnie the Witch & Wilbur 之故事(影片一 Winnie
:
the Witch story 無字幕)給學生看,然後問學生一些 guided questions,
如:Who are the main characters in the story? What is the name of the
witch? What is the job of the witch? What pet does the witch have? What is
its name? What color is her pet?
【B. presentation】(25 分鐘)
1. 老師與學生以英語問答互動之後,再將有字幕之影片(影片 2:Winnie
the Witch story 有字幕)播放一次。
2. 接著老師再發給學生每人一張學習單(Winnie the witch story
worksheet),請學生依據影片回答上面問題,以便提供學生 reading
教學 comprehension 確認之練習機會。
步驟
說明 3. 最後再播放第三遍(有字幕),讓學生確認自己的答案正確與否。
4. 在學生確認完之後,老師在重新播放一次,講解影片中新字,教導
學生從上下文猜測新字之技巧。
5. 最後在 youtube 上找到 BBC 之 Winnie the witch 之故事(影片 3:
youtube 之 Winnie the Witch),給學生看原始版故事,讓學生能得到較
好之聽力理解力。
【C. wrap-up】(10 分鐘)
1. 老師根據學習單上最後一題,請學生發表意見。並且引導學生此故
事告訴我們:要改變別人不一定辦得到,改變自己的心境也許是更好
的方法。此時可用英文或中文引導學生做 critical thinking 之省思。
