I handed out questionnaires to 10 college students about their interest in acting. Only 3 students expressed interest in acting, while 7 were not interested. The questionnaires also asked about age range, perceived job opportunities in acting now versus 5 years ago, and difficulty for actors in finding work. While the results showed a low level of interest in acting, they provided answers to analyze acting as a career choice.

I handed out 10 Questionnaire’s around
college and I thought that the feedback I
received was average. I thought I would
have got at least half of the people I
gave a questionnaire to fill out would
have been interested in Acting but no. In
the 10 questionnaire’s I handed out only
3 people said they were interested,
leaving 7 people being not interested in
Acting.

4. Quantitative Research.

After looking at the results on the
previous page I was a bit shocked
because of the low number of people
who said they were interested in Acting.
I thought the Ratio wasn’t too great but
either way I could work with it and carry
on to get the answers I needed to look
at.
