1. THE SARACEN LANDING : HISTORIC TR-ENACT ON

The Saracen landing is an annual appointment for
Laigueglia.The event is preceded by a series of initiatives
to recreate the atmosphere Laigueglia had lived in 1546
when it had to be defended by pirates who had plundered
and pillaged the city.Dragutin pirate buzzing lives in
Laigueglia, the hamlet is ready to land on August 4th.
The event is a free historical reenactment in the costume
of a 16th century event when the invasions of the
Saracens, the fearsome predators of the Riviera, were a
recurrent threat to the people of the place.Participants,
divided into two decks, "indigenous" and "Turkish
invaders" collide on the shore for a battle of rubber balls,
with the favor of the night illuminated by grandiose
piromusical performances.

2. A disturbing beat of drums is all around, while a "fire" ...
devastates the Bastion, a historic monument of 1500 for
defensive needs.

3. On the 1st and 2nd of August "The fritters of Dragut"
distributed from 18 to 23 in piazza Marconi. On 1 August
at 5.30 pm the "Saracen Pirate Hunt" in Via Mazzini, at 21
"Dragut Headgear", a children's workshop and animation.
On August 2, a guided tour of the Saracens at 18 at via
Mazzini in the amphitheater area. Then at 21 with "The
Disembarkation is Children" (in Via Mazzini) and in
particular with the "Pirate Puppet", a laboratory that will
allow puppets and Baby Dance to be built at 21st.
On August 3rd, the historical procession will be followed
by the "Tempus Ludit" musical bracket and duels, fights
and fire artists at the 21st century. The top of the Pirate
Party is on Friday, August 4th, when at 22am from the
central pier, Dragut's plunder will be reclaimed.
