The River Lee rises in the mountains in county Cork near the Shehy mountains and flows for 90km before emptying into Cork harbour. It is crossed by 42 bridges, with 29 located in Cork, and also passes through one tunnel called the Jack Lynch tunnel. The Irish name for the River Lee is "An Laoi" and it hosts Páirc Uí Chaoimh stadium near its mouth.
