2. I have come to the point when my heart is unableto resist
silence. I may be criticized for speaking the truth and it may
hurt, but the pain of our future generationwill be much
greaterif we don't unite in thinkingabout the unborn ones.
Solvingthe migrant crisis without realizingthe consequences
of today's action is irresponsible.
The differences in ideologies, whether politicalor religious,
haveexisted since the beginningof civilization andcaused
dreadfulwars. This is harsh reality, and yet some people
consider doubts, insecurity and cautiousness either racism or
paranoia.
Einsteinand Freud exchanged opinionson this subject in their
correspondence(1931-1932) "Why War." Einstein: "As long as
war productionis not prohibited,we may be sure that war
willfollow upon war. Unless our civilizationachievesthe
moralstrength to overcome this evil, it is band to share the
fateof former civilizations:declineand decay." There were
aboutthirty wars since then.

3. War prohibitionisa joke. So how to prevent further killing?
My only answer is to protect our countries in order not to
risk peaceful life of our future generation.Defeating ISIS will
give us a breather before they come back.
Havinghad a life-threatening experience in the past, I have
deeplysympathizedwith the Syrian refugees in Europe.
Thatwas before their angry faces struck me like an ice berg.
They were mostly young men dressed in quite exclusive
winterclothes, and they were demanding entry into
Germany to collect the generous benefits. A group of their
countrymenwas alreadysuing Germany for not allowing
them to register asylum quick enough so they can access
the benefits. No, not all of them were poor. Aggressive? Yes.
The evil throat cut gesture wasn't lost on them. Even a
youngfemale refugee pointedat her infantand then did the
gesture at the citizens of the country she had entered
illegally.

4. I know what you are thinking. But I am not referring to
their struggle and crucial hardship.I am bringing up
differences between their behaviorand other refugees.
Forexample, Jews when fleeing Nazi persecution, or
politicalvictimsfrom behind the Iron Curtain.Both Jews
andthe victims of totalitariansystemwere prohibitedto
emigrateand thus many of them were risking their lives,
runningempty-handed into the unknown and facing
enormous obstacles in finding safe haven.I was one of
them.
Althoughwe have finallyreached free country, our life
wasn't easy. But we knew that we didn't come to any
heavenand nothing will be given to us for free. We have
gainedour freedom and permission to establish our life
throughour hard work for which we were
deeplygrateful. We couldn't ask for anythingmore as we
got all that mattered to us.
