3. This was taken back in February 24, 2008, the last day that it rained a significantly measurable amount in San Francisco! The rainy season should start soon we hope. It is now October 25th. (Update, it is Nov. 9 and it finally rained a few days ago!)

23. This is Hamilton Pool, one of the best kept secrets in Austin. The preserve’s pool and grotto were formed when the dome of an underground river collapsed thousands of years ago. There is a ring of 45-foot waterfalls all around the rim. Flow was light this day, but you can still see a few streams of water coming down.
