3. Minutes Matter Criteria
The British Coatings Federation (BCF) is the sole UK trade federation representing
the manufacturers of paints and coatings. Working alongside the Community
HeartBeat Trust (CHT), the BCF will arrange for one of its members to donate paint
to renovate converted telephone kiosks. Donated paint is available if you have:
Adopted your kiosk from BT
Purchased your defibrillator from the CHT

4. To Adopt a Kiosk from BT
The cost of adopting a phone box from BT
is only £1.

5. Contacting

6. Once you have adopted your kiosk from BT,
And your defibrillator is on the way,
The Community HeartBeat Trust will contact the
BCF to source the paint.

7. Step One – The Process Begins
Belle Robertson at the
British Coatings Federation
will contact BCF members
in your area that
manufacture and supply
paint.

8. Step Two – Paint Supply
Once a BCF member has agreed to
supply the paint, Belle will put you
directly in contact with the
member for you to arrange
collection or delivery of the paint.
You will be supplied with a plaque
for the kiosk to acknowledge the
paint donation.

9. Step Three – Renovate Your Kiosk

take adequate precautions as the old paint may

10. Step 4 - Share Your Renovation
with the BCF
All renovations are recorded
on the BCF Website.

11. Step 5 - Share Your Renovation
with the rest of the country
The BCF will provide you
with a press release once
your paint has been
sourced.
