వ఺డెైన ఇస్఺ాకు అనఽ తన కుమారునికి సఽననతి చేసెనఽ.
5 అబ్రర హాము కుమారుడెైన ఇస్఺ాకు అతనికి ప్పటటి నప్పిడు అతడు నారిండలవ఺డు.
6 అప్పిడు శ఺ర఺ దేవపడు నాకు నవపు కలుగజ్సెనఽ. వినఽవ఺రెలల నా విషయమై
నవపుదఽరనెనఽ.
7 మర్యు శ఺ర఺ ప్఻లలలకు సతనయమిచ్ఽినని యెవరు అబ్రర హాముతో చెప్పినఽ నేనఽ
అతని ముసలితనమిందఽ కుమారుని కింటటని గదా? అనెనఽ.
8 ఆ ప్఻లలవ఺డు ప్ెర్గ్ ప఺లు విడిచెనఽ. ఇస్఺ాకు ప఺లు విడిచ్చన దినమిందఽ

• Isaac prospers greatly, moves away from
Abimelech and unstops the wells (:12-22)
• Abimelech makes a covenant with him and Isaac
settles in Beersheba (:23-33)

20. He blesses Jacob before Esau
(Genesis 27-28)
• Isaac, aged circa 120-130, fears he is close to
death and resolves to bless Esau (27:1-4)
• Isaac although he intended to bless Esau
blesses Jacob (27:5-29)
• The deception is exposed but Isaac says that
Jacob “shall be blessed” (27:30-40)
• Isaac blesses Jacob again and sends him to
Padanaram to find a wife (28:1-7)
