 Old name of Izmir was „Smyrna“ 
 The Turkish fought against the Greek invasion. 
 Every year on 9th September the Turks celebrate the 
liberation of the city with official ceremonies. 
 It was the last phase of the Turkish Independence War.
Reunification Day 
 Since1990 the 3th October is a bank holiday 
 Germany was split in two pieces: 
-DDR 
-The west (BDR) 
 Throught Germany was a strict controlled wall 
 At the 9th November 1989 was the fall of the wall 
 Reunification at the 3th October 1990 
-Federal Republic of Germany 
 Big Party, firework (every year in a city of Germany; 
next year in Hannover)
