The Huli tribe in their remote area of Papua New Guinea was unknown to outsiders until the Europeans swept into their villages in the 1940's. Since then, the Huli have struggled to protect and maintain their valuable natural resources from greedy companies, while modernize their lifestyles and honor their tribal customs.
