3. My culture is a melting pot of Persian,
Indian, Afghan, Central Asian, South Asian,
and Western Asian influences.
Over 15 major ethnic groups can be found
in Pakistan, that vary in physical features,
historical bloodlines, dress types, customs,
food, and music.
My culture has numerous differences
between other cultures around the world but
it will take a long time to name them all.
4. My country’s languages have a
gigantic selection to choose from
to learn and are spoken in various
parts of Pakistan like Pasto,
Punjabi, Urdu, and even English.
Mostly every language has more
than one million people blabbering
in it with fantastic fluency.
They are also exceedingly easy to
learn unlike other languages like
Mandarin.
5. Our food is a unique
blend of regional
cuisines influenced by
the country’s diverse
country and history.
The food is known for
its spicy, tangy and rich
taste and is often
compared to Middle
Eastern food.
Some finger-linking
good foods are Biryani,
Samosa, Karahi and
Zarda and Lassi.
6. Pakistani art has a long tradition
and history. It consists of a variety
of art forms, including painting,
sculpture, calligraphy, pottery, and
textile arts such as woven silk. It
shares features with Indian
subcontinental art.
Many famous masterpieces
include Zones of dreams, The
Forest. Blue pottery and Hala
pottery and also making beautiful
shoes.
7. Pakistani music
is usually
categorised
as folk, classical,
semi-classical
(ghazal and
geet), Qawwali,
pop, rock and
contemporary
(including
electronic).
'Fusion' is a
newer term
widely used for
any type of
music that
combines folk or
classical music
with electronic
instruments or
guitars.
Some infamous
songs are
Tajder-e-Haram,
GO, and
Pasoori.
8. Pakistan is a land of festivals,
which are rooted in the diverse
and rich culture of the country.
Different celebrations have
cultural significance to the hearts
of the people.
Many joyful days come to the
year like, Independence day,
National day, Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-
Adha and also Lok Virsa Festival.
9. In my culture, clothing plays a
big role. There are countless
clothes that enhance the
beauty of people and make
them look more attractive and
different.
Men and women wear
shalwar kameez. Men also
wear kurta, sherwani and
turbans. Women wear
shalwar kameez with some
jewelry and bangles.
10. Pakistan’s cultural heritage
dates back to 5000 years ago
to the period of Indus Valley
Civilization times.
The Indus Valley Civilization
was very famous for its
inventions and culture.
This civilization shaped most of
the cultural heritage before
many other countries
influenced it.
11. All in all, I’m
extremely pleased
to be a Pakistani
and perceiving the
fact that my country
possesses a lively
culture and
tradition.
