1. The Greco - his real name is Domenikos
Theotokopoulos- was born in the Candia,
Republic of Venice, in 1541, and he is
Greek. And he died in 1614 inToledo.

2. He has got a child called Jorge Manuel and his wife was
called Doña Jeromina de las Cuevas. She is Spanish.

3. My favourite painting of the
Greco is The Holy Family. It is a
painting of five persons: child
Jesus, Virgin Maria, Saint Joseph,
Saint Juan Bautista and Saint
Isabel.

4. The Virgin Maria keeps in her
arms child Jesus. The rest look.
All are evolved in a blanket. All
have got the hair covered in a
blanket, but child Jesus is
naked.
