Teddy is a homeless man who spends his days riding the Circle Line of the London Underground. He uses the train as shelter from the cold and observes the other passengers as a way to feel less invisible in his situation. Throughout the day, he watches as different types of commuters and tourists fill the carriages - workers rushing to jobs, students exploring museums, theatre-goers heading to shows. Though he never speaks, the train provides Teddy a sense of community and purpose as he imagines conversations. It is his only home as night falls and he must leave its warmth to sleep outdoors once more.
