Het vlindermeisje : standbeeld in hoogwaardig brons voor tuin of park naar een ontwerp van Eddy Adriaens, Ninove, België - The butterfly girl : bronze statue for garden or park designed by Eddy Adriaens
The most beautiful bronze statue in the worldJuan De Flandes
This presentation is about the butterfly girl, the exclusive bronze sculpture designed by Eddy Adriaens and undoubtedly one of the most beautiful bronze statues in the world.
The document discusses a fashion presentation with the theme of the four classical elements: fire, air, water, and earth. It explores color palettes and symbolism associated with each element according to various theories. It then discusses embellished motifs, connections individuals can have with each element, and proposes a line of luxury bespoke footwear incorporating these elemental concepts.
A poem written in biblical verse in the aftermath of 9/11, accompanied with digital paintings of my photographs. There is no religious reference in the poem.
The document describes waiting for a "fantastic beginning" between the narrator and another person. Over multiple stanzas, it discusses body parts and actions as currently just functional, while waiting for a moment when a deeper connection and love will be expressed through smiles, blushing, dancing hair, singing, barefoot wandering, and hearts bonded in a perpetual relationship radiating love. The overall message is of patiently waiting for a romantic relationship to blossom.
The document discusses butterflies and their symbolic representation of transformation and rebirth. Butterflies live within all people, and through tapping into our creative energy and balancing masculine and feminine sides, we can undergo a complete metamorphosis. Butterflies also remind us to live fully in the present moment, as they only live for a few hours but spend that time actively seeking warmth and sunlight. The artist offers a series of watercolor paintings for sale that depict themes of butterflies, transformation, and living in the present.
The document discusses an upcoming "revolution of love" that will replace the old revolutions driven by fear. It argues that lives have been broken by endless fears and the avoidance of unnecessary fears. However, a mass light of love is coming to envelop the planet and forgive past negative karma for those willing to accept this new light and leave behind the darkness of the past. It encourages the reader to match the frequency of the reality they want to experience, see love as an energy that grows when life's obstacles are removed, and give themselves the greatest present by being in the present moment and opening their heart through meditation. The document calls on the reader to do their part in creating this "revolution of love."
Aphrodite was the Greek goddess of love, beauty, pleasure and procreation. She brought love into the world and represented the sensual side, though she could be both generous and mean. There are two theories about her birth and she is known as "she who shines from the foam." She was forced to marry Hephaestus but is often depicted in fine art as the Roman equivalent, Venus, goddess of love and beauty.
This document shares a lesson about how storms can bring blessings through a story of observing a storm pass through a valley as a child. It notes that though the storm seemed destructive, the next day the grass and flowers had grown from it. It encourages not fearing storms in one's life, as blessings can come in their aftermath. It includes a poem about how tears bring joy and life, and how God builds beauty from grief. It closes with an invitation to accept God's love through prayer.

This document provides a summary of ascension and how to ascend based on 11 parts written by Michelle Walling. It discusses ascension as the act of increasing one's light and vibration by connecting with their higher self and akashic records. The key steps outlined are setting the intention to ascend, asking for help from guides, activating DNA, healing the body, and being aware of synchronicities. The overall message is that ascension is an individual journey, and raising vibration through practices like meditation and positive thinking is the path forward.
Descartes up, hume down!
certainty
doubt
Write an essay of fewer than one thousand words that clearly and accurately explains the picture above. Although both Descartes and Hume intend to discover the foundations and limits of knowledge, their starting points and conclusions contrast sharply. Use your understanding of the key developments in Meditations on First Philosophy and An Enquiry Concerning Human Understanding to explain precisely how Descartes begins in doubt and ends in certainty, while Hume begins in certainty and ends in doubt. Identify a “turning point” in each case. Lastly, explain how and where each in his own way comes very close to adopting the views of a madman. Completed work is due online, through the Assignments tab on Blackboard, before 11:59 pm on Friday, April 15.

Passion is that strong feeling or the fervor about doing a given thing or for something. It can also be a feeling for someone or the thing that you enjoy doing very much. It is about putting more energy into something that one likes to do. The ambition that one is ready and eager to do something with the involvement of the mind, the heart and the entire body.
As a person, my passion is travelling. If I had all the money necessary, I will tour all countries of the world, I will explore every corner of the globe. This is because life is too short to go at the same place twice. It is such a pleasure moving from country to country, from place to place to place and to see the décor of the apartments in such places. Travelling is one of the few things that makes me realize that life is so beautiful and has a lot to admire.
Travelling gives me a chance of visiting new places, encountering new culture, meeting people born in the other countries, to come into understanding such people, who have a mentality different from mine, all this is the beauty of travelling.
It not only widens my knowledge base but also gives me an ample atmosphere to relax. The world has a lot of tensions and therefore, the mind at one point needs this moments of relaxation. Every time I travel, I learn and understand a new phenomenon, a new people, a new culture which increases my perspective about life and my general view of the world we live in.
Travelling has in fact given me a new hope in life, which every other person should be encouraged and mentored to do what he or she can do best. Encouraging the children around the world about the opportunities that life offers. It has become a learning moment, that every time I travel to a new town, I must find out about a neighboring school or a children’s home so that I can go and encourage them to always take up the challenge regardless of their situations or their environment in life.
The journey I made to Australia, Singapore, The United Kingdom, Canada among the other very many countries have given me this chance to.
Our souls exist in multiple dimensions concurrently and have a hierarchy with different levels. The incarnated soul overlays the physical body. The Oversoul coordinates multiple soul journeys, while the Higher Self connects the soul to the Creator and holds all knowledge. Souls can have relationships as members of soul groups, soul mates to help each other grow, and parallel souls living multiple lives simultaneously.
Here are some ways students can live a life of abundance:
- Focus on personal growth and learning rather than material possessions. Pursue knowledge and new experiences that fulfill your potential.
- Build strong relationships with others through acts of kindness, compassion, and service. Make time for family and friends each day.
- Practice gratitude for the blessings you already have like health, education opportunities, supportive communities. An abundant mindset values what you have.
- Find purpose and meaning in small acts that uplift others, from volunteering to holding doors to leaving encouraging notes. Look for ways to spread abundance wherever you go.
- Take care of your mind, body, and spirit through exercise, meditation, journaling,

The French food waste bill aims to reduce edible food waste but presents an ethical dilemma. Arash Derambarsh campaigns against food waste when hungry citizens still exist, seeing it as "scandalous and absurd." However, Guillaume Garot must consider businesses that produce excess food. While Derambarsh focuses on helping people, Garot must balance multiple stakeholders. This bill allows supermarkets to donate unsold food to charities, satisfying both reducing waste and aiding citizens, but not fully both groups' ethics.

Karma yoga chapter v we help ourselves, not the world.Ravi Ramakrishnan
Swami #Vivekananda Bengali: , Shāmi Bibekānondo; 12 January 1863 – 4 July 1902), born #Narendranath Datta, was an Indian Hindu monk, a chief disciple of the 19th-century Indian mystic Ramakrishna. He was a key figure in the introduction of the Indian philosophies of# Vedanta and #Yoga to the Western world and is credited with raising #interfaith awareness, bringing Hinduism to the status of a major world religion during the late 19th century. He was a major force in the revival of Hinduism in India, and contributed to the concept of nationalism in colonial India. Vivekananda founded the #Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission. He is perhaps best known for his speech which began, "Sisters and brothers of America ...," in which he introduced Hinduism at the Parliament of the World's Religions in Chicago in 1893.
Born into an aristocratic Bengali family of Calcutta, Vivekananda was inclined towards spirituality. He was influenced by his Guru, Ramakrishna Deva, from whom he learnt that all living beings were an embodiment of the divine self; therefore, service to God could be rendered by service to mankind. After Ramakrishna's death, Vivekananda toured the Indian subcontinent extensively and acquired first-hand knowledge of the conditions prevailing in British India. He later traveled to the United States, representing India at the 1893 Parliament of the World Religions. Vivekananda conducted hundreds of public and private lectures and classes, disseminating tenets of Hindu philosophy in the United States, England and Europe. In India, Vivekananda is regarded as a patriotic saint and his birthday is celebrated there as National Youth Day.

It explains that visual perception is subjective and influenced by factors like personal experience, culture, and knowledge. Works of art can mean different things to different people and our understanding can change over time as we learn more. The document emphasizes close observation of details in works of art to understand the artist's message.

The document provides details on the activities, discussions, and a theoretical input on self-esteem.
Global blights can be resolved by individuals getting together. Global warming and global arming are symptoms of our failure to obtain joy in our individual lives.
The document discusses different perspectives on love from various sources such as poems, songs, and philosophers. It explores love as a natural human impulse and divine force, and how it has been viewed across cultures and religions. While love originally stems from God as the creator, humans seek meaning in love through spiritual growth beyond physical desires.
This document provides an introduction to the philosophical concepts discussed in the book "My Radha". It discusses several key Hindu philosophical concepts including:
1. Acintya Bhedabheda Tattva - the inconceivable simultaneous oneness and difference of the Absolute Truth. It explains how everything can be one yet different.
2. Karma - one's actions create reactions and influence one's experiences in current and future lives. We direct the "movie" of our own lives through our actions.
3. Reincarnation - the eternal soul transmigrates through different bodies after death, experiencing the consequences of past karma. We are the directors of our own destinies through our actions.
We are not our material bodies but eternal spirit souls. The presence of the soul can be seen through consciousness, which a computer lacks, and through phenomena like near-death experiences. The soul is eternal, individual, and smaller than the tip of a hair. It inhabits the heart and leaves one body for another at death, driven by karma from past lives. Ultimate knowledge comes from understanding our true identity as spirit souls, parts of God, not as temporary material bodies.

Young Love ... always so sweet and innocent - "L'Aveu" (The Declaration of Love) is one of H. Moreau's best sculptures. Measuring a whopping 72 cm tall, the magnificent depiction of a young man declaring his love to his shy girlfriend, is the absolute eye catcher in any interior.
Béatrice Bissara has lived in the world of art since she was born. Her childhood spent in museums, flea markets and the atmosphere of auction rooms with her father, a classical art connoisseur, forged her taste for classical beauty.
Yet, though she never left that familiar world far behind, it took her several years to discover her creative vocation.
After studying finance and management, political science and the history of art, she went to work for a modern art dealer and then began appraising old pictures, especially from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, at Sotheby’s.
Being thoroughly trained in the History of Art but self-taught in practice, she did not begin painting and sculpting until 2000, without forsaking her 10-year-old interest in wet-plate photographs developed primarily in black and white.
Her passion for volume and color even prompted her to take evening stylism courses at the Chamber de Couture and modeling courses at the Rose Bertin High School in Paris.
In that period she frequented the ADAC (City of Paris) and other studios in search of a teacher of the art of design, painting or sculpture. But she wound up learning her craft “on the job” by working with models and by means of meetings which had a decisive impact on her vocation.
Her meeting with the sculptor Petrus, who devotes himself almost entirely to stone-carving in his studio in the Bastille district of Paris, initiated her into anatomy and measurement.
She has been exhibiting since 2002 in galleries and shows, including the Independent Artists’ Shows.
Now concentrating on sculpture in bronze and sometimes transparent resin, she pursues her quest for beauty, balance and harmony of bodies, faces and souls in figurative art.
Still desirous of giving her work a spiritual dimension, she is working on a set of sculptures revisiting the faces of biblical characters.
The story of the here's to life exclusive bronze Juan De Flandes
The document summarizes the process of creating a bronze sculpture commemorating Eddy Adriaens and his wife Arlette's 50 years of marriage. Eddy designed the sculpture to depict the two of them dancing together. He found inspiration in an existing sculpture of a dancing couple and modified the design to better represent himself and Arlette. A foundry in China helped bring Eddy's design to life by creating a clay model, wax mold, and casting the sculpture in bronze. The finished sculpture captures Eddy and Arlette in an intimate dance pose to symbolize their lifelong bond and love for one another.

Vector art uses geometric primitives like points, lines, and curves rather than pixels to represent images. This allows vector images to be scaled to any size without loss of quality and take up less computer storage space than bitmap images. Vector art is well-suited for logos, signs, and other images where simplicity and easy editing are important. The way vector images are represented with geometric elements is also closer to how human vision and memory process visual information compared to bitmap images composed of pixels.

The butterfly girl - het meisje met de vlinder
1. The Butterfly Girl
• Meaning
• Design
• Realisation of
the Clay Model
• Colour
• Final Result
2. THE FLYING BUTTERFLY IS A LIBERATING SYMBOL. On a spiritual level, the butterfly is
the symbol of the immortal soul and the short-livedness of life.
3. VULNERABLE, BEAUTIFUL AND FRAGILE: A butterfly is very beautiful and graceful, but
you can hardly hold it without hurting it.
The same is true when it comes to people: we must treat each person with admiration for
his beauty, but with great caution and respect.
We must not catch or hold children, lovers, friends, ... people, but release them. When
they love you, they will stay with you or they will come back to you. To hold them is not
only useless, it is suffocating, dangerous and unnecessarily endangers emotions of
affection and love. The butterfly you are holding cannot fly.
4. DANCING, MOVING, FEELING: Butterflies encourage us to rise, take off and move.
When they move, it's as if they're dancing. Thus they remind us that we should not take
things so seriously in life. They awaken in us a sense of lightness and joy and make us
see life as a dance. Dancing in itself gives great joy. Dancing gives us the sweetness of
life. This is further underlined by the fact that butterflies have taste receptors on their
front legs. Walking around on flowers, they taste them.
5. BEAUTY, JOY AND HAPPINESS: The Chinese and Japanese see in the butterfly a symbol
of beauty, marriage happiness and joy. In Greek mythology, the butterfly is
representative of Psyche, whose name translates to soul. Psyche is linked to love,
because of her passionate bond with Eros, the god of love. These two are described as
hopelessly in love.
For this reason, releasing butterflies during a wedding is a symbolic gesture of
celebrating the love between the newlyweds. To express their love, as well as the joy of
this new life transition, the bride and groom can perform a release of one or more
butterflies.
6. CHANGE: The dance of
the butterfly also reflects
the need for change; from
where we were and are,
to the next phase of our
existence.
The light playfulness of
the butterfly gives a
double message: Yes,
there is a deep, powerful
transformation taking
place, from earthly,
material things to a
higher, spiritual world, but
all this shrouded in color,
joy and lightness.
If a butterfly appears, ask
yourself how much or how
little joy you experience in
your life. Look up, look
forward to change.
Realize that change is
good.
7. An old Native American belief is that
in order for a wish to come true, a
person must first capture a butterfly,
whisper his or her wish to it and
then let it go.
The butterfly would then fly silently
to the heavens, unable to reveal the
wish to anyone but the Creator, who
would grant it.
To send your personal wishes to the
universe, you release your own
butterfly, whispering your wishes
before sending them out into the
universe.
8. TRANSFORMATION: The literal metamorphosis from caterpillar, cocoon, to butterfly
is the ultimate symbol in our nature for transformation.
Presumably no other animal has become so symbolic for the process of
transformation and shape change as the butterfly.
9. Every new idea and every step of self-development
is reflected in the development of the butterfly.
1/ His egg phase stands for the birth of an idea.
2/ In the larval stage it is up to the time to
determine whether this idea will be converted into
an act.
3/ In the cocoon one has to go inside himself to
connect the idea with his own person.
4/ The emergence of the butterfly is the birth of a
new reality. Now the joy of the new creation can be
shared with others.
These four steps of change takes place constantly in
life. They are necessary for our further development.
The power of the butterfly helps to organize thinking
and to make the next step conscious.
10. Every day we transform, every day we change. Experience your transformation to
the fullest, see it as a wonderful gift and discover and develop the range of
possibilities that you obtain and already possess.
Use your wings and fly into the wide world!
11. RELIGIOUS MEANING: For Christians, death is the transition to a better life, the
transition from a vale of tears to the Heavenly Kingdom.
The butterfly symbolizes that the soul, upon the death of a human being,
transcends its physical envelope, much like a tranforming butterfly.
The butterfly also symbolizes the three stages that the human soul goes through:
life, death and resurrection.
14. The original design showed a
kneeling girl with a number of
butterflies taking of from het
outstretched hand.
Soon, it was decided to use only
one butterfly because the hand
with the multiple butterflies
might have opened copyright
discussions, since a sculpture of a
hand alone with a flight of
butterflies taking off from it,
already existed.
By keeping only one butterfly and
making the girl lean forward
some more, the statue became
stronger and its meaning more
clearly expressed.
